London, England – Happy Birthday and Happy Mother’s Day to the Mother of Modern Nursing, Florence Nightingale. International Nurses Day brings Nurses Week to a close, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate all of this than by talking to ol’ Flo herself! So, we dug up one of those ouija boards hospitals often use to get prior authorizations for dead people when insurance companies reach peak ridiculousness. Administrators Pleased with Nurses’ Surprising Ability to Stretch Even Thinner After Budget Cuts

Doctors Take Over Nursing Duties in Honor of National Nurses Week

Montgomery, AL – In a first ever move, administrators at Dwendale Hospital are giving all nurses a week-long, fully paid beach vacation in honor of National Nurses Week. The administration has ordered the remaining staff, including themselves, physicians, and even housekeeping staff, to pick up the slack and help cover the nurses’ roles in their absence.
